President: Abdul Haleem Abdul Latheef

Abdul Haleem is member of MRC and served as the Treasurer of MRC governing board from 2015 - 2018. Haleem has extensive knowledge and expertise with accounting and reporting as well as investment management. He has worked at a strategic level in both government and private sector. 

He currently works as a Managing Director at Crowe Maldives Advisory Pvt Ltd. and is also a member of the academic committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Maldives. Having served as CFO of the National Pension Fund, setting up administration and investment management operations and developing the finance team, he joined the financial services industry in 2018. He engages in research on Maldives economy, financial system and social security and publishes papers on local newspapers and is a regular contributor to Maldives Economic Review.

He is a graduate of University of Wollongong, Australia and a Chartered Management Accountant holding membership with CIMA (UK).
