Treasurer - Mariyam Shifaana Hussain

Shifaana’s journey with the Red Cross Red Crescent movement began with being a team supervisor for a Water and Sanitation endline Survey under the Tsunami recovery project with American Red Cross. She then worked as an enumerator for the International Federation for Red Cross Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in 2009. 

Her work with the movement, the experience and knowledge gained through the movement lead me to volunteerism as well as pursuing higher education in her current career in Nursing.. Shifaana has been an active volunteer and Trainer with MRC since its formation.
